The Biden-Harris administration has appointed LGBTQ leaders throughout the federal government in record-breaking numbers
Among them are 11 LGBTQ judges, the same record-setting number who were nominated and confirmed under former President Barack Obama
Enact legislation that would update current laws to remove “outdated, unconstitutional, and unnecessary sections of law”
In making its decision, the court referenced two recent developments that may change the legal landscape for transgender people
Many lawmakers support keeping anti-LGBTQ+ trigger law on the books, a federal court said banning same-sex marriage is unconstitutional
"We do believe in human rights; we do believe that violence & discrimination is not OK," she said. "And we lead by example"
The new policy also reverses some Trump-era Title IX rules governing how schools must respond to sexual harassment & sexual assault
The ruling is complicated & will have an immediate impact for trans youth in Idaho and could have national repercussions

As of last November, similar laws had been enacted in 22 states, and legal challenges have been mounted in several of them
